About this page

This page is the public disclosure of the Eaton EDU SMS text messaging program. The same consent language appears on the dedicated "Text Message Consent" form that every active client signs during onboarding (delivered via IntakeQ as part of our Ecosystem Membership packet). Eaton EDU only sends SMS text messages to individuals who have signed that consent form.

What we send

Eaton EDU may use SMS text messaging, from time to time, for:

  • Project status updates and progress notifications
  • Meeting reminders and scheduling coordination
  • Invoice and billing notifications
  • Document and form signing requests
  • Direct support communication and follow-up on inquiries
  • Account, ecosystem, and service announcements

How to opt in

Active clients opt in to SMS text messages from Eaton EDU by signing the dedicated "Text Message Consent" form provided during onboarding (delivered via IntakeQ). The opt-in is captured via an initials field on the form. The exact opt-in language reads:

"By initialing, I agree that I have reviewed these SMS Terms and I opt in to receiving SMS text messages from Eaton EDU at the phone number I have provided."

Signed consent records are timestamped and retained in our IntakeQ records, tied to the signer's identity and the phone number they provided. Eaton EDU does not enroll any phone number in SMS messaging without a signed consent on file.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your active engagement with us. Volume is low to moderate — typically under a few hundred outbound messages per month across all clients combined.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Eaton EDU does not charge for SMS messages.

How to opt out (STOP) and get help (HELP)

You may text STOP at any time to opt out of receiving SMS text messages from us. Opt-outs are honored automatically and immediately.

You may text HELP at any time to receive assistance.

Sharing of mobile information

Eaton EDU does not share or sell mobile information or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with subprocessors solely to deliver the SMS service (such as our messaging provider — currently Twilio or OpenPhone) is not considered sharing for marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose.

Sample messages

Examples of the kinds of messages active clients receive from us:

  • "Hi Sarah, this is Stacey at Eaton EDU. Your monthly invoice for $1,500 is ready in the portal. Let me know if you have any questions. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Reminder: our project review meeting is tomorrow at 2pm AZ time. I will send the Google Meet link 30 min before. — Stacey, Eaton EDU"
  • "Hey, following up on the form template question from earlier this week — I have a few options ready when you are available to walk through them."
  • "Your form is now live on the practice portal. Reply with any questions. — Eaton EDU team"
